Welcome! I’m so glad you are here.

My name is Alison, and I am a Registered Nurse and Mom to two boys. My grandmother taught me to knit as a child, and I have continued to build by skills ever since.

I began test knitting for local designers, and that grew into sample knitting. After working in the fibre industry for some time, I developed an interest in tech editing and completed the Knitting Tech Editing course through the Tech Editor Hub.

I love supporting designers to make their projects come to life from all aspects of the process.

The Stitch Whisperer is here to support many of the jobs that designers do not have time to do. Let me take some jobs off of your long to do list, so you can focus on what you do best - creating wonderful patterns for knitters to enjoy.
